CAREER OBJECTIVE

My career objective is to assist in the removal of barriers that prevent any individual from reaching their desired academic goals. At commencement, I volunteer to line up and count the soon-to-be graduates. It is the most favorable public environment that I have ever witnessed. The excitement surrounding graduation is infectious. The feelings of hope, opportunity, and promise resonate throughout the entire student community. It is an emotional time for all. I know the challenges that I had growing up and want to do my part to support those that are attempting to improve their lives for the better. As I continue my journey as a lifelong learner, I know that my academic foundation prepared me to join the mission of student success. I will use my knowledge, skills, abilities, and talents to do my part in removing barriers for students, thereby making the pursuit of education more accessible.
